Abortion? Infanticide? What’s the difference?

Some of us understand that abortion is a form of infanticide. Peter Singer and friends, on the other hand, seem to think infanticide is just another form of abortion.

That almost sounds like there’s not much of a distinction between the two viewpoints. The author of this article warns that the two words may become synonyms if we aren’t careful.

He ended on a rather profound note, if you ask me:

Opposing infanticide is deemed a conservative position. If that is true, it is only because the nature of liberalism has changed.
