Fox News Covers Valentine’s Day Ad Campaign, from the Love and Fidelity Newsletter

February 16th, 2011

In response to the sexually explicit messages that have come to dominate Valentine’s Day and attack healthy conceptions of love and marriage, our student leaders have united to cosponsor their fourth annual ad campaign to promote healthy relationships and the dignity of sexuality. This year they and the Love and Fidelity Network partnered up with Let’s Strengthen Marriage to simultaneously run the ads in 18 college newspapers yesterday. Fox News picked up the story and discusses the ad campaign and its message in this webcast and article.

LFN Director, Cassy Hough, also blogs today with her thoughts on the importance and necessity of “filling in the missing pieces” on campus discussion regarding sex and relationships, and “working for love” that is authentic.

    Work for love. Nice.
    Looks like a quote from Nerdygirl.

    “Will work for love” sounds a bit like prostitution to me. Oops.

    @Heidi
    No, that would be “Will work for money, or drugs”

    @Heidi
    LOL, I agree Heidi. Prostitution whether for love, money or drugs.

    @Mark
    Real money, real drugs.
    Whatever it is, it isn’t love.
